This is defintely needed!
This is great as long as it is case specific, not by patient. For example, pre-op appointments canceled but leave the post op ones still scheduled.
Even worse, in 2.0, if you don't delete the appointments before discharging... you can't go in and edit them to delete them as a group by changing the end date! I have to delete every ongoing appointment individually?!?!?! Either prompt me to delete future appointments, or fix it so that I can still edit the darn appointments.
