When a patient no-shows for a scheduled appointment and you check the "no-show" icon/box from "Edit Appointment" screen, it would be helpful to get a pop-up that asks "Would you like to alert the patient of their missed appointment?". Then an email could be sent to the address associated with that patient chart alerting the family that they missed their scheduled appointment.

yes, and take away the pay per text fees as this model is like 20 years outgreeded. also make it an option to add a cancel fee to the patient statement automatically as this is insane that you have to create independent out of system processes to do this as of now.
Great idea!! Additionally, can we have a automatic Fee attached to the chart?
I think this would be a great feature!
Great idea!
Please make this an optional setting for clinic set up. I do not wish to pay to send text messages to our non-complaint patients.
yes, yes, yes! I'm here for this! It would definitely help to alert the patient of how many missed appointments they've had. Sometimes they "forget" that they no showed. or they say they "forgot" about apt, even tho they were given a copy of their schedule at time of initial evaluation appointment.
Yes! This would be great. And an option to add that missed appointment charge right from the scheduler would be great.
This would be great
YES!! Can we get it to automatically add the charge as well?
Yes, please add this feature
Yes!!!
Yes! and/or send a text to the phone number on file
This would be a very useful addition to following up with patients that no show to their appointments.
I agree! We always call to notify a patient but a follow-up email would be great. The automation would be super helpful in holding patients more accountable.
As an office that sees patients 2 or 3 times a week, this would be fantastic. It would cut down on the time it takes to call and notify them of the missed appointment. Please consider. Thank you.
We have numerous people who have access to our schedule since we have a call center and items have gone missing and we have no idea who moved them or why. It would be helpful to be able to see who moved what so we can train them appropriately and prevent future errors
love this idea would be extremely helpful.
Yes! This would be super helpful!
Yes - this feature would be helpful.
Yes! We had this in our old EHR. We had a template document that would be automatically sent home reminding them of our cancellation/no-show policy. 100% miss that feature.
