add column to show appt type in upcoming/previous appt list

We have to schedule many different appt types. So, for a quick view of what type is scheduled to make sure we are on track for compliance reasons, you could add a column in the upcoming/previous appt list. Now, we have to go through each appt to see what type is schedule and it is very time consuming.

    Admin response

Hello, and thanks for your suggestion! This is a feature that we don’t currently have planned, but it is on our list to consider in the future.

Besides showing if the visit was an Initial Examination vs a Follow-up, what else would be useful to convey? Perhaps the provider credential/account type?

In the meantime, if you have any further questions feel free to leave a comment or contact WebPT Support using support@webpt.com.

I submitted this as an idea as well! We have a person that handles authorizations only and it gets time consuming for them to search the schedule constantly to find out if progress notes or recerts are scheduled.

Our clinic has been asking for this for years in 1.0. We have a pool and some appointments for patients are in the pool and some are in the room. We currently have to go through patient schedules and highlight the pool appointments so the patient knows to bring their swimming suit. By adding appointment type to the "upcoming appointments" print off this task would be eliminated for our front desk. Also, this would allow a quick reference for the next scheduled progress note without having to pull up every appointment. Provider credential/account type is not something we need to be handing to the patient on their schedule. This is adding one column to a report that already exists and I know we are not the only clinic that would benefit from this.

I love this idea! I would be a great checks and balances in case someone was scheduled under the wrong type.
