We use an alternate ID that is generated by our billing software to identify our patients and not the number that WebPt assigns. We have always entered this number as the alternate ID and marked it primary. We are seeing in 2.0 that the number showing up next to the patients name is not the alternate ID, even when we mark it as the primary ID. We are now having to enter our ID numbers as an alert. Marking the alternate ID as primary should override the auto assigned webpt number.
