Office Chat Feature

It would be amazing to have a built in chat feature for staff to utilize in the office. Having a way for my admin staff to communicate with clinical staff without interrupting a patient would have a huge impact on our daily flow.

    Admin response

Hello, and thanks for your great suggestion! This is a feature that we don’t currently have planned, but may consider in the future. To a certain extent, you may find Tasking helpful for some of your office's communication, but it's not as flexible as a chat module as you recommend. If we end up developing it, we'll be sure to let you know!

In the meantime, if you have any further questions feel free to leave a comment or contact WebPT Support using support@webpt.com.

I consider this to be information of quality and it appears to be written so as to make the reader think. I like your writing style and appreciate your efforts.

It should work when you are using the flowsheet system of WebPT 1.0 as well.

Absolutely. The messaging system is a bit dated.

I love this idea! Currently, my staff uses Google Chat to communicate with each other. However, we have to be very careful to not include PHI, as Google Chat is not HIPAA secure.
