Preview note prior to signing

Can we please have a "VIEW" button to preview note/eval prior to hitting submit. Currently, the only way to see the note/eval in completed form is to sign first and then view. Thank you Nicole

    I was instructed that in 2.0 you could push "forward" in order to get a preview for the note. I am the only provider in my clinic and therefore am unable to forward a note so this was not an option for me. I would very much appreciate a Preview button to make sure I have all the things included in the note and to catch mistakes. I want a way to see what the note will look like when finalized and not how it is formatted when making edits.

    The preview in SOAP 1.0 is great because it allows you to see how the final document actually appears. This is the view that is desired - which can only be seen in SOAP 2.0 AFTER the note has been signed.

    I am hearing that our current functionality, where we display the note as it will appear in the report as you document is missing the mark because there are often empty subsections (albeit collapsed) that interfere with a clear view and cause more scrolling to get past them. Can anyone confirm this is the concern, or add to it if there are other items for concern with not having a Preview button in SOAP 2.0?

    If this is the problem, we could rectify it by having a "Preview" button which simply hides the empty subsections. Then you could turn it off and all subsections would once again be visible. Would this be a desirable enhancement, or does it still miss the mark?

    Yes, i agree with everying in the last comment. It is difficulty to visualize the entire note and quickly edit. It is alot to go scrolling through the entire note and would be hlepful to see how it will appear on the final document.

    @Keith, Good morning !

    Will the WebPT platform handle a preview note option in 2.0?
    If yes, as so many clinicians continue to ask for this preview option, the second question is, how involved and doable is adding the preview option?
    Thank you for your continue work to smooth out the bugs of 2.0

    The intent of SOAP 2 is to provide a "preview" while you document. When you close a subsection, it will display exactly what you will see in your signed note. This obviates the need to go to a Preview, find a mistake, go back to the editable version of the note, look for the place where the mistake was made, and then fix it. Instead, you can simply review the note, and if you find a mistake, click on it and edit it right there. That said, this still obviously misses the mark of our intent because so many members are requesting a "Preview" function. Can you help us by explaining specifically now our current "preview" falls short? This will help us design a better solution. Thanks for your feedback!

    Please add this feature! Very difficult to visualize the final note in the current system.

    YES!!! please make it happen. When we transitioned into the new WEBPT program with full 2.0 access, we had to do a lot of addendums because we found a lot of errors. thank you

    Agree. I understand that because there are not several pages to tab through, this should be easier to see, but it really is not, as there still is a lot of scrolling and it is not possible to visualize as a whole to make sure all is there before faxing.

    The Preview option in 1.0 was very helpful before finalizing the note. Miss that in 2.0 and should be planned and updated immediately rather then just under consideration.

    YES "view" is critical when working with students in order to review their notes and make edits.
