Oftentimes, patients have multiple insurance coverage with different subscriber information - example, when a pediatric patient is covered under their parent's insurance and covered under their own insurance like Medicaid. When entering a new patient, WebPT will override the Subscriber information (name, DOB and relationship) in the Primary Insurance information when entering the Secondary Insurance information. If it's not caught before billing, the claim will be denied and then have to be researched as to why it was denied because the denial reason is not always clear. When discussing it with a WebPT rep today and them discussing it with their supervisor, there's currently not a way to fix this.
WebPT may use your submission for any purpose without obligation or restriction of any kind.

Yes - after entering the different name for the secondary insurance's guarantor, the name switches in the primary insurance. When you try to then fix it in the primary, the secondary switches.
Thank you!

Hello, thank you for submitting your idea. To clarify are you referring to the Guarantor information?
