Check and Balance for Billing Evaluations

As a manager, I am finding that my therapists occasionally forget to bill their initial evaluations using WebPT as a our new system. Our previous system would not let you close out or sign an evaluation unless it was billed, a pop up would occur. Is there any way to build in some sort of check and balance system at point of documentation so that our revenue stream will not be impacted by these oversights? This is huge as the evals are where the dollars lie.

    Admin response

Hi and thanks for your feedback. We're hearing this from other members and it's definitely something we'll consider for the future. Would you want this to apply to all disciplines' IEs or would you want this to be a setting that you designate per user type?

I think it would be a "soft" alert, meaning that in the event you are doing a placeholder eval and don't need to bill an eval, you could bypass the alert.

    Thanks for your feedback!
