There are multiple Members with several claim delays indicating that the referring MD is missing. This is because the EMR allows for claims to integrate over without the referring MD being updated when some payers actually require the referring MD to be included.
The request is, create a setting in the EMR to require the referring MD for certain insurances (ie. Medicare) which will not allow an account to integrate over to WebPT Billing without this field being populated. This would save on time and improve our clean claim rates.
Hello, and thanks for your feedback! This is a feature that we don’t currently have planned, but definitely see the value of as we have many members who experience this same workflow and issues. We will definitely consider in the future. We’ll make sure to let you know if this feature is delivered.

Some members are currently creating new "Pending" or "blank" or "self" physicians and it is integrating over as such. Later on, instead of changing the MD from the drop down list provided, they are simply updating the name in the EMR with the Physician's name and credentials. However, since it is already linked to a "Pending, blank or self" MD in WebPT Billing, it is still integrating over as pending, blank or self. This is not only creating duplicate physicians in the EMR, but it is creating an increase in claim delays and failed charges. This is also creating a lot of confusion, as the member cannot figure out the reason the WebPT Billing is still showing as "Pending, Blank or Self". Instead of updating an already linked Physician, they should be choosing from the drop down list so everything can integrate over correctly.
