The visual alerts on the schedule for Medicare patients who are nearing or beyond their plan of care expiration dates are exceedingly helpful. It seems like it would be an easy task to broaden this to all patients, not just those on Medicare. Some therapists struggle with keeping track of POC dates, and unintentionally treat outside of POC dates, and this would be an easy fix.
Hello, and thanks for your feedback! We have a feature that should be a solution for this idea that we are planning to work on in the not too distant future. We’ll associate this idea to the feature to make sure you know when it is delivered. In the meantime if you have any further questions feel free to leave a comment or contact support.

so this was planned in 2022 to happen in the "not too distant future"....i assumed not to distant would be within 6 months or so. Well is is 12/24 and this still has not been an updated feature for us. I just got off the phone with cust service and there is still no capabilities for this for all insurances, just medicare. We are finding it very hard to keep up with non- signed POC. We are in a state where a dr. signature is required! This needs to be fixed ASAP, don't just feed us lines of its "planned"
Agreed!!! This needs to happen! Being able to turn it on/off by payer would be amazing!!!
please perform ASAP as this is a massive compliance shortcoming in your software!!!!!
This should be added!
I am new to Web PT and was surprised that the feature of alerting to end of POC dates was not available for non Medicare patients. Would also appreciate this feature being made available for all patients.
I agree. This feature would be critical to our administrative reports and helping therapists be sure to be complaint with all clients' POC expiration, not just Medicare.
I would also like to support the idea of being able to run a report to indicate upcoming plans of care that are expiring so that clinicians can be sure to write a progress not before the expiration date for all insurance types, not just Medicare.
Do we have any idea when this plan is going to be implemented?
Noting on this that POC tracking is not available at all on SOAP 2.0. This needs to be reinstated.
This would make it much easier for therapist and office managers to keep track of visits and authorizations. Potentially leading to less time correcting out of authorization visits and less headaches for patients.
I agree that this would be very helpful. A clinician should not be allowed to see a patient if their POC is not effective or has lapsed. I feel like it shoule be a lot easier to track than it currently is in both 1.0 and 2.0
I would also add that this should be in effect not only in the alert, but also within the Plan of Care for the Initial Evaluation for Medicare Advantage plans. The dates of certification should be auto-populated as they are for Medicare A/B/T.
