Notification for Progress Notes

In the 2.0 EMR system, it only pops a “progress note needed” notification after you’ve signed the 9th note. I suggest that this should come earlier (after the 7th note perhaps). The reason being, we have had several instances where the primary therapist signs the 9th note only to find that the next note MUST be a progress note even though the patient will be with another therapist that day. If the notification populates after signing the 7th note, the primary therapist could pre-plan to complete the progress note before the patient is with a different therapist.
