"Search my Patients" error - it doesn't find discharged cases/patients

Our clinic uses "Search my Patients" from all WebPT screens. Recently recognized it does not find discharged cases/patients. This occurs though our clinic settings are set to "ALL" for Default Patient (and Case) Status. This error can easily cause our front office to create duplicate patient records. You could say there is a workaround, but we all know the difficulty in changing habits. This is not just an idea, it is an error that we hope will be fixed soon.

Thanks for your feedback. One additional note is that when creating a patient if the name and DOB are matched the application will alert you to prevent the duplicate creation of the patient.

Thank you, that is a great fail-safe. However, I still look forward to the search being corrected since this fail-safe only kicks in after time is spent to enter data.
